Established in 2009 and incorporated in 2010, Queen to Queen, Inc. is an organization for current and former queens of historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) as well as professional African-American women.
Created by Anisah Rasheed and Latiera Streeter, two former queens of North Carolina A&T State University, the organization strives to build a network of women that will:
- Serve as mentors, sounding boards, and professional contact across the country for Queen to Queen members;
- Act as models of professional women of color to young women; and
- Be positive examples of the high-quality education and advancement available through our nation’s HBCUs.
